Description of a reading work

Shoichi Masuda's "Tomo-chan no oheso"

Collection of works
"The will of the children who became stardust : The orphans of a refugee reception center"

This is the talk which actually suited immediately after war. When, this making the now new century into the method of welcoming in after the World War II conclusion about fifty, Although war-displaced Japanese orphans' in China thing can be enlivening mass communications frequently. The thing of the war orphans who died, without being gathered by the Chinese, It is buried out of a history and will be forgotten away.

This work is the author who survived the tumultuous time as one of such war orphans. If "someone does not write the situation of the children's last moment children was " like a wasted death. The thought of if the thought to say and the incident of such past are not handed down from generation to generation with future, It expresses against the background of life experience of an author's own refugee reception center.

To the young Japanese of a generation who does not even know that there was the country "Mansyu" I let you know that Japan had such times and such miserable past. And prayer that such a thing must not be repeated by any means is put -- I carry this work.
